We take the issue of counterfeit drugs very seriously and are committed to the highest standards of drug quality and patient safety. Counterfeits by their nature are of unknown safety and efficacy, thereby putting patients’ health at risk. At Viatris, protecting patients and consumer health by ensuring the quality and safety of our products is at the heart of how we operate across our network.
While we are closely working with the investigating agencies and extending all support in the investigation of these unscrupulous activities, patients and members of general public are cautioned to check the authenticity of the product they are purchasing.
